Golden Minerals is a junior silver producer with a strong growth profile, listed on both the NYSE Amex and TSX.
Some random thoughts.
The regulars are probably still reading here, as I am, but have nothing new to say about what is going on in the market. What we are waiting for with AUM in particular is some event or announcement that would encourage new money to buy the stock and bid the price higher. From the perspective of the company's management I believe they are doing everything they can to create a positive perception of the company in the investment community. Most of them are, I believe, significant shareholders themselves so they have a vested interest in seeing that happen. I believe that our major frustration is that the traditional ways of appraising companies and investing in future potential seem to have been highjacked by manipulators and high frequency traders to the extent that share prices don't react the way they once did to positive news. We would normally look to the regulators to curb that activity if it is illegal or against regulations but they seem to have been corrupted by the banks and the politicians. As to the AUM share price, if you don't need the cash it seems inadvisable to sell now when the company is on the verge of announcing results that we all feel will be positive. The price seems to be ligering at a bottom with nowhere to go but up.
All very frustrating and maddening to be sure.
