Reminder: The Annual General Meeting (AGM) for shareholders of GOLDEN MINERALS will be held May 24 at 09:00 MDT at the Marriott, Golden, Co USA to transact business as may come before the meeting. So, about two weeks to go before shareholders have their say.

There should be plenty of discussion as to recent custom delays of equipment arrival (June?), changes in production guidance, revised Q1/12 results, studying options for increased production, mining techniques, frugally spending capital on engineering studies, Directors bonuses, etc… I am sure it will be exciting times.

GOLDEN MINERALS share prices have tumbled from some slightly negative news (market perception) and should settle as soon as the AGM is over. We may even have a reversal of the adage of “buy the news and sell the fact” shortly.

In the meantime, I cannot watch the carnage therefore with prices so low in the gold and silver markets I am going to take a leisurely stroll (stress-reliever) walk down to my local coin dealer to chat and pick up some physical silver maple leaf one oz. coins. Cheers.
