Golden Minerals is a junior silver producer with a strong growth profile, listed on both the NYSE Amex and TSX.
My take on this (my usual extreme pessimistic perspective that, to this point, has been right on) - is that the incredibly scaled back reserves were released recently as the next step required to turn over this massive reserve to the Cartel. Because Golden Minerals management's primary objective is to lose all the loyal and long term investors (prime the pump for a Cartel takeover with little to no resistance from the shareholders), the stock selling at 25 cents per ounce in the ground was so ridiculous (silver stocks sold for 1 dollar an ounce in the ground when silver was half this price) that they simply had to knock down the number of ounces in the ground so that the valuation would not be completely outrageously absurd. What is the price per ounce in the ground now - based on this latest "shrinkage" of resources ???
Go to AG and ask management why they are selling out all of the shareholders and why they are trying to get rid of all the long term shareholders. So there is no resistance when turning this over to the Cartel ????? We know that management is getting a pretty penny for doing this dirty deed - The elite Cartel can always find Judas morally bankrupt management scum to gut the shareholders so they can pick this company up for pennies on the dollar.
It should be amusing next week to see management pretend that they are working on your behalf and how frustrated and sympathetic they are to you. All of the management of the gold/silver companies lie down like lambs to slaughter - because they get extra sweet pay and bonuses when beholden to those that want cheap ounces and not shareholders.
Remember - shareholders are the true owners of this company. They want to bully you into capitulation. Once they have your shares cheap, then they have your votes. Once they have the votes then the company goes to a Cartel entity like Pan American Silver for 5 cents on the dollar. Mission accomplished.
