It has its own problems

French second home tax grab 'unconstitutional'

France’s decision to slap steep, retroactive social charges on British and other “non-resident” second home owners in France could be declared unconstitutional, a former French finance minister warned today.

Comment: How stupid and narrow-minded ( and how typically political!) to think additional taxes will solve France’ problem. This idea was never thought through to its conclusion.
