That is a pretty standard sentence that is used in most press releases of mining companies that refer to any kind of future expansion. You will see it in company the press releases sometimes and always in the MD&A for any company considering expansion plans. In simple form it means if internal funding is not adequate then outside funds will be sought, it does not say they are going to need to go this route or that internal funds may not be sufficient. Only when they completed their economic assessment and decided on an expansion approach will they state how much it will cost and how they plan to fund the expansion.
Absolutely 100% for sure management doesn't want a low share price anymore than do shareholders and of course they are shareholders!!!
As they stated they are not changing their 2012 guidance provided previously for production but in qualifying why they state no change until they evaluate completed additional mine development. For me this suggests that there is a chance that guidance can be increased if all goes well in the next couple of months in mine development/opening new stopes with the new equipment.
