What the officers of this company own as far as shares/warrants? Do they truly have a vested interest in this company? I've said before that I respect everyone's opinion on this board, and I do, but I feel more and more that juniors are being bled dry by lack of financing from banks. In my humble opinion, fundamentals don't carry the weight that they did back in '06. It's production that counts, regardless of the bottom line. I also know that there's no solid proof of shorting going on, but then why is it that the discrepency between the mining stocks and the price of physical gold and silver, continue to grow. Last I looked, gold was up some 8% YTD, silver up 12% YTD, yet the GDXJ (junior miners etf) is down 3%. Is it one big giant algo. hedge put on by hedge funds.? I don't profess to know. All I'm inferring is that there are extenuating circumstances that weaken the strength of fndamentals. To survive, I think some of these minors will have to redirect their focus, to come up with new and out-of-the box ways to raise funds and circumvent the banks. Something like gold-backed bonds that pay variable interest levels based on the spot price of the physical. Or holding back some of their physical product to raise the price of gold and silver. I've witten to Mr. Clevenger and asked about some of these proposals. He clearly has no interest in these ideas, and is hell-bent on increasing production. Last I looked, he makes a nice salary, whilst, once again, we the investors, take it on the chin.
