Not unlike the crazy bearded man standing on a street corner holding a sign "The end is near" - well, some may also say I'm a few cards short of a full deck when I have to say I'm pleased to announce things are about to look up again as the cyclic winds shift behind Gold's back. One certainly couldn't ask for better timing in terms of recent developments in Cyprus, and a rather lopsided futures short position that is ripe for the plucking.

All combined these combustible elements make for some possible fireworks over the next 3-5 trading sessions, as Gold is set to break out of it's 7 month downtrending trading channel. Of course watch for preliminary defense tactics from the usual suspects as $1620 is guarded and failing that, ultimately $1640 which will set those shorts on fire.
