What the QEs have done is provide to banks plenty of paper to use in devaluing 'real' and valuble assets, and in turn to buy (er transfer) those real assets at cheap prices.

We hear that gold will go to 10,000$s well I also do not subscribe to that much either because gold is not going up much but that those devalued papers are due for a big fall. So in numbers gold is likely to be 10,000 in US $s but not as much change in some other currencies.

Before the $ I expect the Yen to take a bigger hit.
While the Euro while also for a hit, not as much as the other two BECAUSE Europe is tackling the problem in a more realistic fashion compared to the previous two hiding under false euphoria. So I expect Euro to recover earlier and with less need.
