I haven't paid much attention to the posts about this matter and feel a bit silly about getting involved with it. The proponent(s) of change in leadership seem to have a political mentality whereby they view the hub leaders as having some power to be exercised that would influence our individual thoughts and/or actions. Seems crazy to me, but if they are so concerned about who is filling the leadership role and what that leadership means they should put themselves forward for election to the position and we could all consider the merits of their platform and what potential benefits we see there. We could then petition the Agoracom folks to make a change or do whatever posters do to elect a hub leader. I have no idea how those leaders come to be, never gave it a moment's thought and can't imagine what effect their serving in those positions has on their financial health or mine. Enough already.
