Even if they had the luxury of so called tapering - they've already created massive new fiat over an extended time period . . .and I suspect they are going to do everything in their power to continue expanding fiat as long as they possibly can. The alternative is deflation - their biggest fear of all.
I believe the metals and mining companies are priced as if the Fed started shrinking the money supply long ago - especially silver and the mining companies. The Fed hasn't shrunk the money supply at all- all they've really done is say that someday they are going to have to taper the rate at which they open the fiat creation spigot.
It is beyong aggravating to watch this fiat circus. We need to start teaching our children things like the fact that the dollar has lost 80-90% of its purchasing power since 1970. Is a $250,000 house going to cost $2,000,000 in 45 years?
