"How far can they possibly push this?"
That is the right question. I thought that USD/JPY 120 would be the top, but I was wrong. It is now above 121. I am now expecting a last spike to 123 or who knows to 125. When you look at the USD/YEN chart for the last 2 years, you can see a parabole that is almost going vertical. So a top and reversal is very near, possibly this Monday already.
And will they invent another trick to suppress gold?
At least we are sure they will try. But the forex markets, which they have been using these last two years, are the biggest markets there are, so this might be the end of suppression for the near future. And the fact that it coincides with the drying up of physical supply and increased efforts of Central Banks to repatriate gold also makes me optimistic that we may get a substantial rally in gold. FWIW, because so far I have always been (made) wrong. Let that be my disclaimer.
