Golden Minerals is a junior silver producer with a strong growth profile, listed on both the NYSE Amex and TSX.
I own silver bullion and am invested in precious metal stocks because I consider these as safety from fiat monetry systems.
Why call them Fiat? I spend a lot of time in Europe where a major part of my investments are and that label is used to describe something cheap.
So why is common paper money cheap? Because it is printed without much control and no responsibility, in other words without backing of real money. Real money being assets that have value but are immposible or difficult to counterfit.
So I expect that Fiat money will sooner or later fall to it's knees due to devaluation. It is already happening but to a small degree due to manipulation. The global economic situation is the result of paper money losing value and things manipulated to forestall it happening.
With the collapse of most paper money systems I suspect there will be at first an economic war ( now only small skirmishes ) which is likely to lead to a physical global war. Yes you guessed it, I mean a potential WW3.
Note that the previous one was largely caused by a global depression and we are now in danger of having another but greater depression.
Hence any news that provide signs of where things are leading is valuable information towards my taking counter measures to save my asset value.
This topic being considerably off topic for this forum but none the less relevant because of possible consequences on precious metals and this stock price.
So Cockerel, GWR and company, I thank you all for posting the so called 'less relevant' aspects, other wise what would we have here now. There is not much to say about our AUM other than the dye has been cast and we wait to see.
Cheers to patience and possible prosperity. Ed.
