Cockerel, it was good news as was the update on the progress of the new production plan, can't explain the stupidity of market price action in this sector anymore than anyone else but I know good news in this sector when I see it. Price action in this sector has long ago been devoid of reason based on good fundamental news but this will change and when it does this stock will triple fast before starting the long climb back to legit valuation and respectibility based on value of above ground and below ground assets. Markets move in mysterious ways sometimes and just like sectors like the tech sector or biotech were grossly out of favour a short few years ago with poor share prices that lasted for years, they have now become overvalued and market darlings, of course they are due for a mean reversion down now.

Just because this correction in precious metals sector has been longer than expected and deeper than many could see, with the juniors a disaster, doesn't mean present valuations are correct nor that a mean reversion higher isn't the next move for the sector. I suspect the next move will be a major re-rating higher for this sector over the next couple years. I am prepared for the upside with my positions but I expect 99% aren't given what has happened the last 4 years, this by the way would be normal and par for the course from what I have seen over decades of time in investing.
