In answer to Cockerel1's "O.T. Crimea Referendum" on AUM forum:

Quebec has mostly French population who became occupied after an Anglo-French war.
Scotland also has it's indiginous people.
I do not know enough about Catalonia, but suspect Catalonians are not ordinary Spaniards.

This is where that comparison fails - Crimea has it's natives. They are Tatars and Ukrainians and the so called people who claim Crimea as their territory are immigrant Russians who were planted there by Stalin while removing Tatars so that he could claim Crimea for his empire.

Essence of my post = State of Crimea should be decided by It's people and not immigrants, even IF those immigrants are in the majority.
