Saskatchewan – Border
In April 2008 while drilling geophysical anomalies for diamonds Goldsource Mines Inc. intersected approximately 23 metres of black coal. Two discovery drill holes, 1.6 kilometres apart, documented a flat lying coal seam that ranks from high volatile bituminous B to sub-bituminous C thermal coal.
The discovery holes are located on the Border property approximately 50 kilometres north of the town of Hudson Bay and the property is transected by a CN rail line and a major roadway. A 230kv power line is located 70 kilometres north of the property.
Goldsource Mines Inc. has 100% interest in 132,000 hectares surrounding the "Durango" thermal coal discovery.
The Company is in the process of preparing for a winter work program. The first phase of drilling will consist of an estimated 50 drill holes (5,000 metres) and will focus on resource definition in the discovery area plus testing of additional targets in the permit area.

By way of comparison, the average calorific value of the Durango Coal Seam is generally higher than those of the Alberta thermal coal fields and the major coal producers of the Powder River Basin in the United States.
On June 24, 2008 and July 30, 2008 the Company received confirmation of the priority status from the Saskatchewan Ministry of Energy and Resources for 252 coal applications. The coal applications for which priority status has been confirmed comprise a total of 189,632 hectares.
The Ballantyne property is located in north eastern Saskatchewan, northwest of the Border property.
