Edit this title from the Fast Facts Section
Here is a little information for those that are "Long" on GRC Mines " or for those that are thinking of accumulating a position..
.
Look at this GRC Statement..
.
Overall, in 2011 Goldstone plans to drill approximately 50,000 metres in Geraldton-Beardmore, about four times as much as last year.
Lets give this some thought and guidance..
There are only 365 days in a year. and 20 days have already gone by us.. Lets also think that......probably around Dec the 15th... the Drilling Crew(s) will go home for Christmas... So now we have 365 minus 20 minus 15 days and we have only 330 days to do all that 50,000 metres of drilling.. Are you all still with me here ?.
.
Considering that 35-40 meters of drilling per day for a machine is a reasonable expectation.. IMHO
Some may say more but lets also consider that Drill Bits have to be changed and this requires all the drill stem to be pulled out of any hole...OK ?? But since we are drilling very shallow.. perhaps we can change the bit ...most of the time.. when moving to a start new hole.. This would reduce down time but we still will have to allow time for moving the drill rig..
.
So in this model .. I have reduced the drilling days by another 18 days for moving the drill over the model's drilling period.. End result is now 315 drilling days and no Easter Holidays, Summer Vacation, or Thanksgiving Turkey days are allowed..
So now.. lets consider 40 meters per day for 315 drilling days .. That gives us an approximate 12, 600 metress of drilling.. with one machine... and we have 50,000 metres to do..
It's fairly easy to see that one machine can never drill what is needed .. so lets add some drills folks..
.
Perhaps .. Are 3 - 4 MACHINES NEEDED ?? Remember that.. in this model.. the drilling must start tomorrow.. Every day that goes by... only increases the workload on the machines... for the time remaining.. to drill all those 50,000 metres.. So if drilling starts early next month with all 4 machines we must add another couple of metres per day for the remaining drilling period..
.
But ..If only 3 machines start at the end of this month.... we will need to drill an approximate 55 metres per machine per day.. EVERY DAY FOLKES ..... This is a major undertaking and it is just like the one that Premier done... back in 2009... over on the Hardrock Project...
.
Since we have heard nothing yet as to when this will all start....I really expect news releases "VERY SHORTLY " in regard to the A-- the Geologist ( S ) and B --The date of start-up for drilling..
I hope this gives you all some idea of what lies ahead for the balance of this year with GRC Mines
My model may not be exact. but we can modify it as needed..and as we get any news releases.
Best of luck to all... and remember.. I fully expect no less then $ 2.00 per share by the end of 2011...
One last point ....
Premier... is still cutting last years Hardrock Core and it still has to get in line over at the assay office..
No doubt they have enough assays right now for a news release... as they will be in Vancouver this weekend for the show being held there. Keep your Eyes Op
