SAN FRANCISCO -- Google Inc. continued to take a larger share of the U.S. Internet search market in November, according to data published Monday by Nielsen Online. Google's share of the market rose 21.7% compared to the period a year earlier to 64.1% in November, according the data. Yahoo Inc.'s share meanwhile fell 1.4% to 16.1%, while Microsoft Corp.'s share fell 16.7% to 9.1%, Nielsen Online said. Microsoft last year attempted to acquire Yahoo in a bid to counter Google's dominance of the online search advertising market.
