Did you notice that EDR also moved down slightly even though they announced highly promising exploration results today. There are similarities in business model and scale with GPR.

These are both well managed companies with competent, forthright leadership who communicate regularly with investors. IMHO they are both suffering from retail investors' widespread distrust and skepticism with the stock market and North American corporations in general, not to mention the depletion of wealth (including investment capital) that has taken place.

No matter what side of the political divide one stands, one cannot help but be bitterly disappointed with the level of corruption, mismanagement and greed that has been exposed by news coverage regarding the behavior of government and business "leaders" in the current historical era. Pension funds are routinely misappropriated, funds for social services are evidently depleted or non-existant, off-balance sheet transactions are now apparently standard operating procedure, swindlers of every stripe identify in public and on TV with Jesus Christ and G-d Himself, their flatulence camouflaged by affluence, their hypocrisy hidden by hype.

The "full faith and credit" of national and corporate leaders is regarded by many thoughtful working people as a counterfeit slogan. It may take a generation for confidence to be restored. In these circumstances, who wants to invest ?
