Today GPR put out the financials for Q4, posting new records for production of gold and silver, and also for recovery efficiency at the Guanojuato mill. However even more important is that the company has issued guidance for increased production from new zones that were developed last year, which should ensure even higher gold and silver numbers in 2010. It looks like GPR is now gaining traction after a couple years of work to get that project tuned and refurbished. Topia is also projected to yield increases and the latest acquisition there should also provide additional production, plus the discovery successes announced late last year.

I think GPR is going to attract more interest now that they have their act together and have delivered on the first round of expectations. The company has a good cash position in the treasury now, and with higher production numbers and rising metals prices they should be able to build further strength on the balance sheet as the year goes on.

The stock is posting solid gains today, and I think we can expect a much higher share price throughout the year.
