Dear Investors,
As a result of Market activities of late, and more specifically trading that occurred at 15:59:55 on Friday, I have sent the following email to IIROC:
"Dear Sir,
I would like to bring to your attention a pattern of trading that has been occurring on the shares of HPQ Silicon Resources Inc (HPQ- TSX-V) lately that seems from my perspective as the CEO of the company like a deliberate attempt by an organized group of traders to push down the value of our shares.
Let me state that as the CEO of HPQ, I am unaware of any material change in the Company's operations that would account for this activity. Management knows of no reason that would give rise to such unusual trading and has no significant information to disclose which could lead to such activity.
From what I have been able to observe the Modus operandi of these traders is that they coordinate their trading in private and then trade under Anonymous (house 1) to hide their trades.
What is more surprising is the predictability of one of their trading pattern. Often during any trading day, as soon as a trade occurs that represents a purchase on the ask, Anonymous will follow these Green Trades with small trade (500 shares usually) to make certain that the tape indicates a Red Trade downtrend.
But what really pushed me to write was the trading action that occurred this Friday, on the last trading of the month, when a definite downtick was done on our stock at 15:59:55 and that the trades were from anonymous to anonymous, done on all the different trading platforms at the same time. (Please see attach screenshot of these trades).
These trades were done on all the trading platforms too close to the close to be initiated by a real investors, they must have been initiated by a pro trader that needed to have a below $0.10 close for the end of the month, and this is why I am requesting an investigation by IIROC on the trading done on HPQ Silicon during the last month, and more specifically on Friday September 29, 2017.
PS: would have been more than ready to fill out the complaint form on your website, but unfortunately I have found that Anonymous (house 1) is not actually a member firm of IIROC and this even if they are probably responsible for more than 25% of the volume of HPQ shares on the TSX-V.
