For more than a century, the economic interest in the Beauce was the mining of the placer gold deposits rather than hard rock exploration.  As a result, not much is know about the bedrock geology.  That's why the ongoing geophysics program we started last fall is important.  So far, it allowed us to discover a deep major fault that coincidentally, rises right beneath the historical placer deposit!

We have to gather as much information as possible before we can plan a diamond drill program.  Any future drill program will be financed and done independently of HPQ by Beauce Gold Fields as a separate publicly trading company.
