Message: HPQ now the applicant for Purevap patent?

Hi Juno,

This is a old news, HPQ purchased and paid for the IP for the Purevap in August 2016, but we only needed to transfer the ownership of the IP to our name this year.  It this was done in August 2018, and it was filled in Europe on August 30, 2018.

The funny part is that it was you, with your September 28 post about the amended application, that helped me find the confirmation that we were now the registered owner of the IP in Europe.

Now regarding the balance of your questions, let me just remind everyone that, as Peter and I have mentioned in the past, we do not talk about our patent strategy in public.  What I can say is that it is safe to assume that we (Pyro and HPQ) did not change the ownership of the IP for Europe only.

Now regarding the point about "Pyrogenesis is no longer working on this patent on our behalf", I am baffled by that question.

I understand that if you read verbatim the document, it does state that we are now responsible for the application, but that has always been the case, we are the owner of the IP.

While we believed it was more efficient to keep PyroGenesis name as the applicant, unfortunately, the Government lawyers did not agree with our position and they demanded that we waste $10K to officially have HPQ name on the patents applications.

This was all done at the same we were closing the government and Pyro financing at a significant premium to market, so you can rest assure that PyroGenesis is still working on this patent on our behalf, as they are major stakeholders on the Purevap success.

Ps, if PyroGenesis was no longer involved with our Patent application, that would be a material event, but the record of the change of ownership for a patent that we own, not a material event.
