I was asked on SH to post this here and, as the person asking correctly stated, know you don't like patent questions.

The European Patent Office has found no inventive steps on the amended patent that Pyrogenesis submitted. Pyrogenesis can resubmit again, but it will be months before we hear anything. My question is, if a patent isn't granted, will we still have a valid asset just because we're first to the market or will the big players just create their own variation of Purevap and bypass us?

The commentor on SH also asked if there would be an amendment to the royalty agreement if the patent application is rejected?
