I believe the powders produced are good for batteries, hydrogen, and other applications such as solar all that would be the difference is the size of the nano powders produced between applications. But as has been said before different manufactures have different specs for their recipe for the battery they produce.
Now the answers will come from the testing to see if these powders/nano particles have an application in producing hydrogen. The results will come back fairly fast in hydrogen qualifications compared to qualifications for battery manufacturing.
