Substitute silicon for any one of the other sourced minerals / materials mentioned in the video and you have the same problem / scenario.  That is why Hpq / Proro's tech will be in such high demand in North America.  Bernard was right when speaking about automakers and battery manufacturers dreaming in technicolor both as to cost and supply!  "High demand" is probably not the correct term given the lofty goals of Ford, Tesla, and others.
