It’s not that I’m missing them at all, but the resident bashers have almost all disappeared from HPQ’s forums. It will not come as a surprise that the short report shows that the shorters activity has dropped down to almost nothing during the latest period. Only 4 short transactions were done and, during that same period, the shorters have covered “bought back” 245819 shares, reducing their accumulated short position to only 102975 shares. The last time their short position was at that level was a few months before HPQ’s share price climbed to it’s all time high. Without the shorters selling pressure and with major catalysts about to come to fruition for HPQ, I’m expecting the company’s share price to start climbing soon.
