There are lots of ways of doing it and a couple have been suggested here. Speculation on how a pour is accomplished is speculation.

A pour at operating temperature would allow the reactor to run continuously and that's when the QRR starts moving from a prototype proof-of-concept to a prototype production machine.

It will be interesting to see what happens when the QRR can start reliably producing a continuous stream of high purity SI.
