HPQ is owned by the shareholders. Bernard can't sell HPQ. But they created HPQ POLVERE as a fully owned subsidiary, to be able to turn it into a stand alone company or to be sold. In the latest interview Bernard hinted on selling it to use the money to develop the other verticals. I think he will sell hpq polvere if he received a unrefuseable offer....
