As a long term investor in HPQ, I would be interested to hear how you look at the Norwegian SisAl method (see recent post on January 4 by Tcheck on Stockhouse), compared to QRR as developed by HPQ / PYR, in terms of operational efficiency, reduction of emissions , energy use, scalability etc. And of course which method would you expect to be commercialised first at a somewhat larger scale, not just pilot plants only.
In such a massive market, I guess there will be sufficient room for several energy efficient , low GHG emission methodologies. Could QRR become the North American and SisAl the European way to produce silicon ? Does this give an extra boost in Canada / USA to speed up building QRR based factories, you think?
