Would be nice if TSX would do this 

Admittedly know nothing about this stuff (im marketing not finance) but asking What would it actually take to over power the short sellers in HPQ's case? Would a deal with a billion dollar chemical company be enough or do they have ways/power enough to even suppress that ? 

Or would they see it coming (like soon actually) and make moves to prepare in consequence?
