The title of that article is misleading in my opinion. There is nothing in the article to point that BMW would stop producing EVs.
As a matter of fact, they have EVs in production, while the Hydrogen ones are still at least 1 year away. EVs technologies, batteries are only improving during all this time.
It wouldn't surprise me to see BMW trying to go both ways on the long term, similar with how most car makers had both gasoline and diesel engines.
