TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - April 9, 2009) - Iberian Minerals Corp. (TSX VENTURE:IZN) today reports that Victoria Vargas is no longer with the Company, effective immediately. The Company wishes her well in her future endeavours.
Iberian also announces that Laura Sandilands has joined the Company, assisting in the areas of investor relations and corporate communications. Laura brings a background in both areas, having previously managed programs at both public and private mining companies.

The Condestable mine, located in Peru approximately 90 km south of Lima operates at 2.2 million tonnes per year producing copper, and associated silver and gold in a concentrate.
