AB - I've got a whack of Stars in my pool so I am suddenly Dallas's biggest fan. Everyone in my pool never thought they would beat Anaheim so they were all available. Here's a question - who are the Stars playing in their current playoff round? Just curious if you know, I would bet a Stars jersey that 95% of Texans couldn't answer that one.

I hear they don't even show the Stars games on TV in Texas - this is why I could never live in the US. I know we Canadians invented basketball too but there is just no comparison when it comes to NHL playoff hockey for watching sports on TV - other than maybe CFL football - :).

Thanks for the post AB - I agree with everything you said whole-heartedly. There has to be stuff going on in the background, too many drill holes full of nickel for us not to be on someone's radar.
