"Interestingly, there does not appear to be a great deal of involvement from the provincial government in this agreement. Neither the Minister of Mines and Northern Development or the Minister of Aboriginal Affairs were apparently involved in the final stagest of the negotiations.

The positive news here is that some mining companies and First Nations groups are working together, a move that boosts the economic outlook for all of Northern Ontario."
