The company is exploring for nickel deposits on its Langmuir property near Timmins, Ontario; for nickel-gold-copper on its Cleaver and Douglas properties; and for molybdenum and rare earth elements at recently acquired Desrosiers property.
Beerbelly,
Just spent well over 8 long hours reading through each and every ISM post to date (oddly enough some of my posts have been removed).
Is this what you were looking for re:
"show me even one link to one post where this was stated. Then show me another one to back up the "some" comment as this applies at least more than one. I am thinking you can't, and this is just more of the extremely transparent attempt to discredit ISM. But that's just me."
Beerbelly are you perhaps calling some of the ISM bb fibbers?

I could not agree with you more. I was very encouraged with the research report, and cross my figures, the SP wil continue on a roll like it did today. I nibbled in a bit again today but am still down more than I would like to be. I have heard rummer that it is believed there is 75-100 million tonnes, which would be sweet. With numbers like that 60 is not out of the picture...ICOH"

Well since opinions are worthless at this stage, shall I dare share mine. Lets start this game shall we.
Langmuir One - proven = 3,000,000 t proven @ 1.5% grade, inferred a further 3,000,000 t.
Langmuir North - proven = 15,000,000 t proven @ .6% grade, inferred a further 20,000,000 t with a grade there at 1.25%
Langmuir South and Explore Holes - say 5,000,000 t inferred.
That total is 46,000,000 t combined proven & inferred. I'm on record.
I expect Whaler to keep track of this number. I guess the press release did not include South Zone and explore holes.
If Darcel calculated 351 m pounds, we must be close to a billion by now one would think. You don't punch 250 holes in one area for nothing.

Cad - I know - my reaction was quite similar to yours re the tonnage estimate that I was given. Opinions are like behinds, everyone has one. I don't know what these people are basing their opinion on, but I do not see the point of doing a 43-101 if the amount of tonnage is only 3 million. I think LBE has proven this point - that there is no point doing a 43-101 for small tonnage amounts, the market doesn't care. This was one of the reasons I am coming here, to get some other opinions on what our tonnage will be. Whaler seems absent today, maybe he is watching VMS closely like some of us are today.
I will also give my estimates - L1 - 8 million tons - (inferred and proven) at 1.1% grade, L2 - 36 million tons (i&p) at .7%. I am thinking/hoping that I am on the low side.
Cad - the other mantra I am being given is that anything below .6% Ni is uneconomic to mine - any thoughts on this theory?

Tonnage

L2= 40mil at .6
L1= 5mil at .7
Proven and inferred.
I was a bit surprised with the lack of attention given the Micon Commission...what gives? Maybe the market thinks the report is a long way off? My guess is that ISM has the data compiled but I would think they wait until the sp rises before they release the report...could be done by year end.

"thus far today marks the 3rd week past July 16th initial due date for the results of the 101."
Once again - source on the "July 16th initial due date" comment? Yet another phantom poster? Or even a real poster? I do not find any literature from ISM stating that July 16th was their "initial due date" for delivery of the 43-101, if you can find it, and provide me with a link, I would be much obliged.

43-101 and Livinglarge
Posted by: tonyg1973 on May 16, 2008 07:18PM
I hear that they have been doing the groundwork for the 43-101 for over a month and that it should be ready in June.We shall just have to wait and see, but I agree with Whaler..sooner rather than later!!......Now as far as Livinglarge is concerned..I totally disagree with his thought process...ISM is poised to be taken over after this report is out.and hopefully in a bidding war..ISM has loads of nickel,loads of money to develop ,and a very good exit strategy in place..Anyone who would think of selling now would be committing economic suicide.LBE has a huge debt load and mines that have to produce at a large scale in the future to cover this..If you really believe that Lbe will be OK in 9 months ,by all means go for it..Myself and all that I know involved with I.S.M. are very happy to stay put and hang on for the ride!! Cheers!

Loads Of good Nickel Here!
Posted by: tonyg1973 on May 21, 2008 09:05PM
The Proof is in the Pudding! When the 43-101 comes out (told it will be next month)then the nickel amounts will be stated in stone. Just let the process happen and I'm sure that this report will confirm the large masses of good mineable nickel at Open Pit depths.Everything else is just supposition at this point.I feel very strongly that this stock will receive a large amount of attention when the 43-101 is released.Cheers!!

BIDDING WAR
Posted by: FATBOY2004 on May 22, 2008 11:09AM
Several months ago I actually had lunch with Randy Miller and posed the question "why aren't the big nickel companies gobbling up this stock while it is cheap?". His answer . . . "they won't touch it until the N143 report comes out." Come on N143 . . . let the games begin.

HOW LONG FOR THE NI43-101?
Posted by: FATBOY2004 on June 11, 2008 11:28AM
In response to: Questions for anyone going ... by whaler
I had an opportunity last week to ask an ISM officer how long it would take, and he told me (without divulging any insider info) that it takes about as long as for a Dallas Oil & Gas consultant company to do a similar petroleum report. That's at most 2 months.

So Fatboy, according to you, we should be looking at another two weeks tops? Micon news was May 16th
