Could be a little of the general market optimism. But do recall we also saw the new yr lows introduced in the last weeks for ISM ( .43). So maybe it's a little bottom feeding and finally we are seeing the general fence sitters and wafflers realize that the tide is turning and it's not a buyers market forever here. The TSX has gained back almost 1000 points.
Could it be the PDAC perusers have finally bought into the story? Maybe they thought that they could sit on it and there's no hurry here? But when you witness the stock climb from .43 to .57 on 5 consecutive updays, you might realize it's time to **** or get off the pot. :) Leverage is key if you want to make money on a stock. Pretty soon a stock may be looking at the dollar level and those who waited are only going to be buying half the shares they could have had. Now we get to see bid jumping over bids? Instead of asks undercutting asks. Nice to see some asks being pulled too. As for the story on the CIBC selling today. Too bad I guess. Buy high, sell low, never worked for me either. Maybe I can dig up the March house positions to get a feel for who is who here.
SP and Volumes always precedes new be it good or bad, I guess we shall have to wait and see if there is more to it or if it is simply the rising tide in the general markets. Nickel has a small kick to it today but that's not the story here imho
That pending trio or reports should be on the top of anyone's minds re: news
More drill results? Nah those are best used for selloffs. I do want to say that the TA is getting lofty and that without some news we may see a top formed and a pullback as we always do in the natural trading cycle. Nice start for a monday though :)
Cheers
