Nitinat is a junior mining company that has entered into a purchase agreement, as more fully described below, to acquire a 100% interest in one (1) legacy claim and nine (9) cell claims totaling 10 mineral claims, on Vancouver Island, British Columbia (the "Property" or "Jasper Property"). Title to the Property will be transferred to Nitinat upon or shortly after the earlier of (i) the sixth business day after a Prospectus Receipt is issued and (ii) May 1, 2009.
The results of previous exploration work are compiled and discussed in a technical report dated January 12, 2009 and are deemed sufficiently encouraging to warrant additional exploration of the Property for poly-metallic massive sulphide mineralization. The Property is subject to a 3% net smelter royalty ("NSR"). The Corporation has the option to purchase 1.5% of the NSR for $1 million.
