Hey Whale, I think I solved your issue around the "met" study. Even though the last MD&A stated that the "met" study was completed last Spring, I see in Kians Technical Report that he states that and the Micon resource reports are not in his hands effective Sept. 1/09. Maybe Randy is teasing him with it (and us).
Going through the report I find it interesting that reference is made out to Langmuir 2 - North Zone being similiar to the Australian nickel deposit called Mt. Keith. For those out there, Mt. Keith is a large nickel deposit that has lots of tonnage but is low in grade. I believe it to be close to surface and low cost to extract.
Reference is made to our Langmuir One deposit as being similiar to the Australian nickel deposit called Kambalda. That deposit is low in tonnage but very high in nickel grade. Kian makes reference that our two deposits are of very different geology yet they are located so close. Just shows how mother nature literally bends and twists its geology in odd ways.
Within Kians report the two differences continue as we can see the specific gravity (or density) at Langmuir One is higher (better) than at Langmuir 2 - North Zone. So the density of the rock is basically tougher (heavier) at L1.
Playing with these differences the report clearly shows that the credits (gold, platinium, palladium, and copper) are at higher levels at Langmuir One, than they are at the North Zone. Again showing the differences at each property.
Any other observations would be appreciated. Hopefully this helps others and not hinders their knowledge. It might be worth googling Mt. Keith and Kambalda for better clarification.
