tantallon ol boy, the metal mines spin-off is no surprise. This has been discussed many times over the past few years. If you are to sell this asset on its own you need to segregate it - common sense. Equating this transaction with the nitinat spin-off is nonsense and you know it. After the initial nitinat special dividend announcement, we had the equivalent of a global economic collapse. Despite taking 3 years, it is nothing short of miraculous that management was even able to pull this off. You can hiss and moan all you want, but to drive a exploration start up company through such dire straights and still raise the needed capital is amazing! Imagine what they could do with metal mines in a economic expansion period! Me thinks its time for you to get back in to recoup the losses you locked in. (especially now that they won't be covered by the nitinat spinoff)
good luck
PS: gun-ho??? I'm familiar with a lot of guns, but not that one! Is this a small gun typically carried around by hookers? :)
