Van,
Not sure the issue has been put to bed. Inspiration Mining still owns all those shares of URSA. I've yet to figure how the ISM investor was ever suppose to benefit from this deal in the first place.
So far it's cost them not just the price of the shares, but all that ISM has spent in legal counsel and court costs.
IMO that's money that could've gone towards making the Micon recommendations a reality.
Still, this latest chapter is good entertainment during the summer doldrums. How often do you get to read statements like the following :
Forbes & Manhattan and Inspiration Mining had made similar allegations before the Ontario Court. On June 22, 2011, minutes before these allegations were to be heard by the Court, counsel for Forbes & Manhattan and Inspiration Mining advised the Court that they were abandoning their claims. The affidavit evidence before the Court was overwhelmingly not in their favour. The Court will assess costs against Forbes & Manhattan and Inspiration Mining at a hearing scheduled today.
"abandoning their claims" it kind of has a familiar ring to it, dont you think?
As for your rhetorical question "So where's the beef?" If ISM's nickel were beef, we'd all best become vegetarians!
