OK, I have taken a look at this one and I have to say, this could be worth a bet. I am looking to pick up about 75,000 shares at these prices.
The crazy part of this is that the Crimea was a hot bed of oil activity before the second world war. It was one of the reasons the Germans invaded, they wanted the Crimea Peninsula, and so did the British, but less so since it was so far away from the empire.
Here we are some 65 years later and still it seems that the area is underexplored.
TSU is looking at nearly a 100 foot hydrocarbon column, natural gas and condensate mixute, which is just a gas/oil/water mixture that can be separated, good money in it.
They are currently transporting the rig to the location in pieces, 85% moved and 15% rebuilt at this time. Drilling targeted to start in January. Could get some positive results in 45 to 60 days.
I may be buying this in my TFSA with the new room in January. The rest of my TFSA is in XEL at the moment.
