Jaguar Mining Logs Lower Q3 Production on Turmalina Mine Weakness

08:04 AM EDT, 10/17/2019 (MT Newswires) -- Junior gold miner Jaguar Mining (JAG.TO) reported Thursday overall gold production of 19,324 ounces in Q3, compared with 20,320 ounces for the same period last year.

Consolidated results reflect the year-over-year decline in production from the Turmalina mine in Brazil to 8,280 ounces from 9,252 ounces. Pilar mine, which is also located in Brazil, produced 11,044 ounces, in line with last year.
