The markets for junior explorers continue to be brutal. It is by no way company specific. I'm not sure how or if it'll affect the financing, remembering that it was a private placement including a share and full warrant. If those taking part in the financing are confident of the company's prospects, then the current price should have little, if any effect.
On a more technical side, I'm surpised we have yet to receive any news at all from Silveria, or for that matter, Vianney Mine or Silver Mountain (also in Peru). The last nr stated that Journey had submitted a technical report of Silveria (NI 43-101 compliant) to the Venture Exchange. I'm curious if this includes work/assessment that Journey's team conducted or was simply Grenville's report. I take the fact that they arranged an Access and Benefits Agreement with Parac (that included the renovation and expansion of community hall and school) as positive signs. Why sign such an agreement unless you were confident of the potential of the property? With the quality personnel employed by Journey (including Dr. Chris Wilson), I believe that the exploitation of Journey's properties, including Silveria, will be conducted in a productive and efficient manner. I just wish the flow of news was steady.
Have a good evening!
