Message: Re: Making Sense of current share price - CLF - Ask Dr. Ian Stein

Da Rock asks noted analiyst Dr. Ian Stein ta comment:

" Well Rocky, CLF's share price is still quite depressed at $19, they were at $120 in 2008.

CLF is looking at this strategically.

They have a stated intention to diversify from Iron ore and Coal, and Ferrochrome seems to be a likely market for them.

Since they supply North American and Chinese steel producers, the Ferrochrome is a natural fit for them.

Plus, this is close and in Canada, an American ally. The moves for railroad access and concentrator is interesting, and just points to the future moves they will make.

They just have to get the ore to the Great Lakes, and the world is open to them.

CLF is sitting at a market cap of about 1.5 Billion presently, wait till their share price goes up pass $60 or $70 this summer; then you will see some merger/acquisition activities from them."

Dat's just da way I sees dat too!
