I may be late in the news, but did someone heard about this KWG 'cousin' corp? Frank Smeenk, Douglas Flett and Bruce Hodgman are on the Board among others... Their application for listing to Venture is still awaited. BTW there are 3 lawyers on the board...

From the October 2007 prospectus:

"Frank C. Smeenk, the Corporation’s Chief Executive Officer, will devote only half of his time to the Corporation’s business in order to also discharge his employment obligations as the Chief Executive Officer of KWG Resources Limited (“KWG”), for which he had previously contracted half of his time."

And from the January 4th, 2010, NR, the company "has not yet obtained approval for the continuation of its share listing on the TSX Venture Exchange and the TSX has discontinued its listing of Fletcher shares as of December 31, 2009". Also, their flagship project, the Texmont Mine property "has been the subject of negotiations for sale over an extended period. Its liquidation would provide Fletcher Nickel with substantial working capital."
