I think what KWG just did was a great move to confirm the quality of chromite up on the Big Daddy. Up until today, we all knew it was there but the quality of ferrochrome was unkown.

Xstrata & KWG pretty much just layed the foundation or started a "bench mark". Not only does the rest of the players in the Big Daddy zone now have a comparison but investors like Cliffs/Xstrata/Hudbay can compare the quality of ferrochrome in Ontario to other producers like South Africa, Russia & China.

Good for you Moe, way to take lead.

Now publish the numbers of this study so I can price in $$ just how much ferrochrome KWG is currently sitting on.

simple example if 1 metric tonne of FeCr with 55% chrome contained is sold for 100¢ US (per lb of Cr contained) then the value would be: 55%(1 metric ton FeCr) = 550 kg Cr = 1212.54 lb Cr (55%). Multiply 1212.54 lb times 100¢/lb = US$1212.54, then round appropriately.
