Frank Smeenk's KWG Resources Inc. (KWG) closed unchanged at 8.5 cents on 291,000 shares. Mr. Smeenk spent some time dealing with his Attawapiskat diamond venture for the first time in over a year, but it was only to delete an "s" from the name of KWG's diamond subsidiary, Debut Diamonds Inc. (Debuts may have been a typographical error but it was also a more accurate moniker: The company attempted many a debut in the past four years, none of them achieving any success.) Mr. Smeenk tried taking Debut public in 2008, but the recession killed that plan. He has also repeatedly touted plans for mini-bulk samples, but could not find backers for the multimillion-dollar program."
