There are many foreign powers working against Canada best interests....if look at AB oil and the need for pipelines to the west coast....ask, who gains, by not having that pipeline constructed....US, the Middle-east oil, the group of 5 oil companies...same applies to Chromite, who benefits from delaying the construction of the RR and the mine....maybe Xstrada, and other producers of Chromite world-wide....and so, they work with the UN to distablize the local populations, and encourage opposition....hardly a day passes, that one can read of local populations opposing resource development, Chile, Peru, and here in Ontario....
