Black Horse deposit has an Inferred Resource Now 85.9 Million Tonnes @ 34.5%
IMO , there is likely a reason for the slowness in granting a decision on the easement.
I suspect it has to do with the FN issues and the negotiations on these are about to get started, now that the key negotiators are in place .
By holding up the easement decsion until the FN issues are resolved takes the immediate pressure off all levels of government to make key decisions on infrastructure , funding, etc., etc.
Get the FN issues resolved and the subsequent steps will start falling into place.
FN issues resolution is a FIRST PRIORITY, IMO.
NOT , KWG AND CLIFFS would be smart to sit down at a table and start discussing other common issues that affect all of them in terms of development of their projects. They should present a common front to governments in terms of options, resolution of the issues .,etc.
This would, IMO, provide a critical path approach to project deveopment.
IMO, it is time for these companies to show leadership in moving forward.
