could be taking place re the location of Cliffs Smelter scheduled for Capreol. If the FN were to suggest that moving the Smelter closer to the ore body could open up some serious negotiations that could result in some agreement, then the Province may consider Thunder Bay as a potential site.
All speculation of course but think of this, how much does Cliffs have invested in Capreol?, in the scheme of things , probably peanuts. With the Smelter in Thunder bay it is closer to the FN and would provide employment, In addition the Province together with the Feds could cut the deal re the Port and Ont. Northland. Plus of course it would open up the way for the Province to approve the RR and gives Cliffs a way out of their issue re the road.
A win win for most including KWG shareholders but obviously a loss for Capreol, in the grand scheme it would move this whole endeavour closer to fruition.
